About Me
I am an adult student at Francis Tuttle Technology Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. I am currently enrolled in two programs: Web Design & Development and Programming & Software Development. After completing these programs, I plan to pursue a Web Desgin degree at the University of Central Oklahoma (UCO).
I'm currently working at Back 40 Design as their Jr. Developer. My tasks include cutting up websites (taking a PhotoShop file and turning it into a site), integrating their proprietary content management system, Javelin, organizing and styling content, and interacting with clients. That final item being my most difficult task, for me at least. I also maintain the help website and have pretty much completely rewritten it as well as adding tutorial videos.
Despite being a traditional, pale "indoor girl," I do maintain a highly active lifestyle and busy schedule. My calendar is filled with events such as users groups, the odd volunteer work, as well as helping newer students adjust to the course work in my highly technical classes.
I also support my mother's Realty career by being her assistant/slave and keeping her office supplied with the ridiculous needs of a Realtor® which includes plying her team with confections, cookies, and incredible cupcakes; all of which are homemade. My brownies, however, are still in development. To this end, my mother gave me the Cadillac of all stand mixers for Christmas last year, and I have since been on a mission to increase the waistline of everyone at her office.
